No way, I have 6 characters. The most recent one was a El/Me which I got through ascension, capped all elites, and completed the game in 56 hours.

I don't see why I should spend 100 hours playing the same old story line over and over again. Besides I don't farm. Just because there are some bad hats doesn't mean Anet should stuff it for the rest of us.

PvE is not PvP.

Besides if Anet can come up with such wonderous AI, well let's just say they should just get rid of the arenas, and instead of having stupid humans fight amongst themselves, let them pit against their l33t AI instead.

It is my understanding that A.net's main gripe with high-lvl area solo farming is that it encourages "gold selling" companies to setup shop in-game.

I didn't realise that the warrior armour had "global" stuff on it, I just thought that it was the same as the protection it gave 33% from chest armour, etc. I wonder whether or not this is delibrate, as I would have thought that it might have been fixed by now if it wasn't. IMHO I do think that it should be fixed because quite honestly it just doesn't make sense to have it as a "global" effect... Speaking of which is the extra protection offered by elemental (or any other) global? I've never been a fan of mixing armour because I've always assumed that effects were not global and so therefore you needed a full set to take full advantage.

So the question really is, is the armour a bug or an exploit?
If it is an exploit, I hope that all classes can use a similar exploit (after all, you can have a 55hp character of any profession) if it is a bug then I hope it will be fixed.

sorry my statment is anything but flawed..you are exploiting an enemies weakness by using fire...lol what did you think I meant? and i was compairing to exploiting my armour to maximum effect. Also yes using glads defense in the game is exploiting the enemy if they continue to attack...why do people not understand what the term exploit means?

to get back to my original point, there is too many cross class nerfing being called for because of other classes being disgruntled...Im not saying all are or course not but still too many are and it should stop before we ruin a good game and make everyone unhappy.

Anet dissaprove of farming because of gold selling?...no you meant to say Anet dissaprove of gold selling, not the fact that there are legit players just trying to get enough gold without scamming etc for that FoW armour.

mmm use your brain lol I was discussing exploiting skills and armour for your benefit same as exploiting an enemies weakness. if your going to post partial statments at least read the entire post before trying to tell me what I meant. Im not hacking scamming or anything, just identifying aspects of the game and using them for my benefit and thats all smae as everyone who want the best armour, wepons and skill combinations.

no i dont think so but many others do...thats my point, i wonder why they think that?...jealousy maybe?...good for ranger trappers if it gives thm something to do or makes em feel rewarded for choosing the ranger class but dont call for nerfs...or (cough) fixes lol your spoiling others enjoyment. of course there are some exceptions, but not regarding classes being particulary good at one thing or another.

i think if people keep calling for nerfs we're all gonna end up with 60al, hitting each other with sticks that do 1-1 dmg and have no req.

oh, and no healing either, that gives a class an advantage ;-)

My point being by the time your have to go through all those missions you won't be a low level in the low level arena's with your Droks armor on. Locking the south door of Beacons Perch will force these people to do the whole story to get to Droks and thus all those 1000pt experience gains along the way. And the Ascalon Arena will remain a good pvp training area instead of an exploiters delight by getting a straight run to Drok and then pop back to Ascalon and fight in the Arenas'

If you played Diablo or Diablo II you didn't run to the end of the story or anywhere else in the game without playing the content and that's the way this should be also. If you want to play other characters you should have to work some for it. At least play through the story and then get your Droks armor. I'm all for that.

I think the knight's armor should be locational to make it more fair.

I don't know about AOE abuse because I really haven't seen it happen all too much.

The gear/book/item "trick" is not how the game is meant to be played. It kidn of takes the whole idea of strategy away from the game. Instead of using tactics, you just protective spirit/buff/heal the "tank" warrior and don't use your brain.
